Thank You for Attending the September 2016 Bridal Forum

From all of us at Your Wedding Iowa and on behalf of all the vendors, we want to thank all of the brides and their guests who attended Bridal Forum this fall. The show was a great success!

We love the excitement in the air when Bridal Forum comes around. For a few hours, we get to experience the energy and joy of presenting the best of Iowa wedding businesses, passing cake around, and most importantly, helping brides check things off their lists.

Brides and vendors alike benefit from this in-person wedding-planning opportunity. Taylor Heying with White Willow Events says the face-to-face experience is a bonus for brides.

“They really get to see first-hand what we can put together. For the brides, getting to talk to people in person is extremely helpful.”

Brides at all planning stages took the opportunity to browse the work of over 80 local exhibitors. Amela Mrvoljak, who had less than two weeks until her wedding, came to Bridal Forum hoping to find a few last-minute ideas.

“I realized I needed a small tier for cutting our cake and I got the help that I came for!”

Jennifer Keys is in the beginning stages of planning her August 2017 wedding and came to Bridal Forum with her maid of honor, Ashley Keys, hoping to get a few ideas.

“We just got here and already have seen things we never would have thought about!”

Jennifer was especially intrigued by the idea of having a photo booth for her wedding.

Brides came with bridesmaids and family, in packs of excited girls, and many even brought their grooms along for help in the planning.

“He’s excited about the food!” Amy Hoger said of her fiance Aaron Podschun. “It’s also nice I can get his opinion without having to show him everything later.”

Meredith Blankenhein had attended the January Bridal Forum, and brought her fiance along this time in hopes to find a photographer.

“When I went to [Bridal Forum] in January, I was clueless,” Blankenhein said. “The show told me what I was supposed to be looking for, and that helped a lot.”

In making the best of Iowa wedding vendors accessible to you, our brides, we hope to easen and bring joy to your wedding-planning experience.
